Seminary Education by Theological Extension (SETE)

The SETE program is designed for pastors, missionaries, church leaders, and others who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of God’s word, Christian doctrine, and practical ministry.

The program consists of a minimum of 16 academic classes and can be taken at one of SALT’s teaching centers or online. It can be completed in as little as three years, but normally takes a minimum of four years.

Teaching locations: Peru, Mexico, and Liberia.

CCEL is a flexible program that allows students to take classes on individual subjects or an entire program of 10-12 courses, which, when completed, earns the student a Biblical Certificate from SALT Leadership. We are currently in discussions with various established seminaries and training organizations in Latin America and Europe to develop advanced standing for their students, allowing them to further their theological and biblical studies.

CCEL was initially designed for those who wish to train without seeking a formal academic degree. Still, we hope to see more students in our various centers utilize the CCEL program to kick-start their studies in a more formal setting in the future.

Upcoming Courses

Pastor Antonio Cárcamo is in Ciudad Juárez teaching a course on the Spiritual formation of pastors and leaders. He is also preaching in several churches in Northern Mexico. This is our second official course in Mexico this year.
Ed Stuart Jr. is teaching two courses in Monrovia during the same week on missions and Pastoral Epistles. He will preach several times and meet with the Mission-Liberia leaders there. It will be his first trip to Africa.
David and Karen Hard are in Porto Recanati with a marriage seminar and an apologetics course in Perugia (Central Italy). This is Dr. Hard’s second trip to the region this year.
Pastor Antonio Cárcamo will be returning to our SETE centers, teaching the course “Preaching with Passion” in Tarapoto and Ayacucho.
